As I sit here, looking across the slowly freezing lake to the leafless trees along the other side, I think about what I am thankful for from the past year.
I am thankful for the wonderful friends and family who have supported us on our crazy journey.
Many of you have stuck with us through thick and thin, continuing to support us whether we are near or far. Having this kind of support system has been so wonderful. We hope you all have an amazing holiday season!
I am thankful for my loving, enthusiastic, and supportive husband who continues to stick by my side — even through my ever-changing desires and near-constant need for adventure. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him.
I am thankful for my furry and feathered family, who have withstood the test of time when it comes to living and traveling in a motorhome. You make my life more complete and bring me so much joy.
And I am thankful for the things we’ve been fortunate enough to experience over the last year (and more). I am thankful every single day that we decided to make this change and that we continue to live it. I am thankful for the people we’ve met along the way, the experiences we’ve gained, the places we’ve visited, and the amazing creatures we have encountered. I am grateful to live in a time and a place where these experiences are possible.
However you choose to celebrate (or not celebrate) Thanksgiving, I encourage you to take a moment to consider what you are thankful for in your own lives — small or large, every piece counts.
Happy Thanksgiving from the Wandering Dolphin Crew!
