It was another fun weekend here in beautiful SoCal.
On Friday we went to the premier of “Fantastic Beasts” and had an amazing time with a couple of friends (a special thanks to Tanner for bringing us to the show)!
As a huge Harry Potter fan, I was completely ecstatic to attend.
The show was great and the company was even better!
On Saturday, I set up our new outdoor cage for Pica so she could enjoy the sunlight and change of scenery. (Thank you to Tara who found the cage, picked it up, and delivered it for us!)
Today was fairly cool and overcast — perfect for another hike!
Our friend Tanner planned to take us out on a new trail so we packed up the dogs and headed out.
The views were amazing! I always wonder when I will hit a point where I am not absolutely stunned by how beautiful it is here. Then I remind myself that even after growing up in Minnesota, I was continuously impressed with how beautiful it was there, too.
Distant views of the mountains rising up into the clouds, pretty epic stuff.
I am thankful for the cooler weather and the fact that it makes for a more comfortable hike! I have realized just how different having a desk job is from working retail (where you are always moving). Getting out and exploring is a great way to get some exercise, and the dogs love it too!
The downside of today: I majorly cracked the screen on my phone. Unfortunate, but I will survive.
We are excited to hopefully explore some more new trails this week and to see family for the holidays!
