The Wandering Dolphin crew has been having fun over the past week — we had a visitor from Minnesota, our good friend Anita.

Since she knows how important our animals are to our family (and she likes them too) she came bearing gifts for the dogs.

And Teddy and Piper loved them!

Not only that, they loved Anita for bringing them gifts.

We had fun catching up and doing some of the things we love — like going to the safari park.

And since it’s baby season, we got lucky! We saw a two-week-old rhino baby (so flipping cute), baby giraffes, and baby cheetahs!

We also saw some younger (and feistier) elephants.

It was certainly one of the more entertaining zoo trips I’ve been on — I love baby animals!

We also took Anita to the Gaslamp Quarter for dinner, drinks and games since she hadn’t been there on any of her previous trips.

Our weekend after this was filled with activities. Certainly too much for one blog post! I’ll be sure to share the rest of our adventures soon.
