This is an exciting weekend for us! Our friend Alex is in town for a short visit and we are thrilled to show off our house and town yet again. 

On his first night in, we made a delicious meal from a recipe Alex had found, marinated flank steak skewers. 

All I can say is, “yum.”

It was delicious. We splurged on some good wine to accompany the meal. It gave us a great opportunity to catch up with an old friend. 

The boys did most of the cooking/grilling while I helped make sure the marinade was made correctly. 

Yesterday we Alex and I spent the day on the beach with some family of his that was in town. We had a great time and only got a little sun burned!

We had amazing pizza for dinner, the best place I’ve found since leaving Minnesota and Pizza Luce behind. 

Today we are off for more adventures!
