One of the hardest parts about leaving Minnesota was leaving our friends and family.  This is why today was such a nice treat. Yes, we are trying to travel from family member to family member to visit people whenever possible but we didn’t think that we would see someone from our Minnesota life so soon.

We were getting ready to leave Thayer, Missouri when we got a message from Andy’s dad telling us that his better half, Pat, was going to be about a half an hour away from us in Arkansas.  She just drove into town for a wedding and it happened to be almost on our way to our next destination.  It was too much of a coincidence to not stop by and say hello.

We made a quick detour and took some of her family on a tour of the RV.  It was so nice to see a familiar face!  This made us realize just how much we missed our Minnesotans.  So here’s a shout-out to everyone: if you’re traveling near us, let us know if you want to meet up!  We will try our best to make it work and we would love to see you!
